Over 10.08 Million Visitors Attend Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai in First Three Months

Lokmani Rijal , Japan : As the Osaka–Kansai World Expo 2025 in Japan completed its first three months, it has drawn approximately 10.08 million general visitors, according to official information.
The expo, which opened on April 13, saw a daily high on Saturday (July 12) with 164,000 visitors, marking the third-highest single-day attendance so far.
According to the Expo Association, the aerial performance by the Blue Impulse, the aerobatic team of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, added to the day’s attraction.
Running for a total of six months, the expo reached its halfway point on Sunday. While the current pace is slightly below expectations, organizers are still optimistic about reaching the target of 28.2 million visitors by the end of the event.
With Japan now entering its summer vacation season, and a surge in attendance expected in the final phase, the Japan Association for the World Exposition has announced plans to launch special campaigns to attract more visitors from outside the Kansai region.
