Southend Airport Closed Following Plane Fire

London’s Southend Airport has been closed until further notice after a small commercial aircraft crashed just before takeoff. A thick cloud of black smoke was seen in the sky following the incident, causing panic at the airport.
The aircraft involved in the fire on Sunday has been identified as a Beech B200 Super King Air. According to flight-tracking website FlightRadar, the plane crashed shortly after taking off from the runway.
It remains unclear how many people were on board at the time of the crash. Airport authorities have announced that all flights will remain suspended until further notice and passengers will be provided with updated information.
People planning to travel on Monday are advised to contact their airlines for further assistance. The flight involved in the crash, registered as SUZED1, has been confirmed to belong to the Dutch company Zeusch Aviation.
