Nepal : H.E. Mr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, paid a courtesy call on Dr. Arzu Rana, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Government of Nepal, yesterday.

During the meeting, both sides discussed various areas of cooperation between Nepal and Bangladesh, including energy, trade and connectivity, agriculture, tourism, and people-to-people relations.

According to sources close to Minister Rana, the discussion primarily focused on the export of electricity produced in Nepal to Bangladesh, as well as the promotion of bilateral trade through the import and export of goods produced in both countries.
