Due to waterlogging on the field caused by continuous rainfall,  the venue for the SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship match between Nepal and Sri Lanka has been changed.

The match, which was initially scheduled to kick off at 6:45 PM Nepali time, is now underway at 8:15 PM. The decision was made after the match commissioner deemed the main stadium unfit for play.

As a result, the game has been shifted to the practice ground of Kings Arena in Basundhara, Dhaka. The organizers stated that heavy rain led to water accumulation on the main pitch, making it difficult to host the match there.

In an effort to complete the match despite the delays, the organizers decided to use the alternative venue.
