Nepal’s outspoken leader Bhim Rawal has accused Prime Minister and party chairman KP Oli of using “dictatorial powers” to expel him while he was trying to bring the CPN-UML back on the right track.

Speaking to journalists, Rawal said the UML had deviated from its principles, procedures, and systems, and claimed he was removed for attempting to restore them.
He stated, “I did not rebel; it is they who have rebelled by abandoning the party’s principles. When I told them to return to the right path, they used authoritarian and dictatorial power to expel me. I had pointed out that the party was not following proper procedures, systems, or principles, and this has now been proven.”

Rawal also criticized all political parties in Nepal, saying they have failed to uphold national interests and dignity, resulting in internal chaos within every party.
“I won’t comment much, but none of Nepal’s political parties are adhering to national interest or dignity. Because parties are not following their declared policies and procedures, there is chaos everywhere,” he added.
