Plane Crash in Arizona, USA, Kills Four

A medical transport plane crashed on Tuesday at Chinle Airport in the U.S. state of Arizona, killing four people.

According to the Navajo Nation Police Department, the twin-propeller Beechcraft 300 aircraft went down at 12:40 p.m. while attempting to land. Police stated that all four people on board — who were medical personnel — died when the plane crashed during its landing at the airport in Chinle Municipality, part of the Navajo Nation.

Officials said the medical team had been on their way to pick up a patient from a nearby hospital.

The aircraft was owned by a company based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The company has notified the victims’ families. The identities of the deceased have not yet been released.
