A bomb blast in Mastung district of Pakistan’s Balochistan province last night claimed the lives of three security personnel, including an army major. According to the BBC, the explosion occurred near Kali Pasand Khan area of Kirdgap Tehsil.

A senior administrative official told BBC Urdu that armed individuals had planted explosive materials, which detonated as security force vehicles were passing by. One army vehicle was hit by the blast, leaving three others injured.
