Powerful Earthquake Strikes Russia’s Far East

A powerful earthquake struck near the coast of the Kamchatka region in Russia’s Far East on Sunday. According to the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ), the epicenter of the earthquake was located 10 kilometers beneath the earth’s surface.
